Shifters of Moonrise: Book 1

About

Kara is confused. Like, really confused.

She has no idea who she is, where she is, or why the insanely hot, bossy mountain of a man insists they’re mated. Oh–and he claims to be the Alpha of a pack of shifters. Apparently, she’s a shifter too. Nothing makes sense, and the worst part? Everyone swears that the life she remembers isn’t real.

Zander is terrified.

After years of waiting for his mate, he finally found her–only to lose her to a curse that stole her memories, her wolf… and him. Now she’s back in his arms but looks at him like he’s a stranger. She doesn’t remember the bond they share. She doesn’t even remember herself.

But Zander refuses to give up. On her. On them.

As danger brews in the packlands and old enemies rise, time is running out. Can they uncover the truth before it’s too late–or will the curse destroy the one thing Zander thought was unbreakable?

Their bond

Praise for this book

This was a sweet shifter-romance that shows the power of love even without one's memories. Once I got into the story, it was a page-turner, and I could vividly see all of the characters.

A long and very satisfying read. Some brilliant characters and a well crafted plot It does end on a cliff-hanger and I cant wait to read the next part of this fast paced all action story.

This story instantly had me. I could imagine every word, every place and everything that went on. I honestly could not put it down and that has not happened to me in awhile. I related to a lot of the characters and was literally screaming at the book when something happened. I loved it and will always recommend this book!

Wow—this was an enjoyable debut novel filled with characters that stick with you well after the last page (Even if the last page has its own moment to shine within the epilogue because… what?! I have to wait for the next book to find out more?!)

Favorite character? Kai; not an MC but he stood out with his humor the most.

Least favorite character? Grayson. Why? Can’t tell you; that’s spoiler territory.

4/5 because, yes, this is my first shifter-alpha book I’ve ever read, so I’m new to terms that I feel are established within the genre itself. I personally would’ve loved a glossary to go over the standard terms of an alpha pack.

This book is a unique version of a shifter romantasy, with a phenomenal world building, intriguing atmosphere, action and strong characters!

A strong story from the start until the very end!

Looking forward for the sequel in this series!.

I have been wanting more shifter romances lately and have been struggling to find some so when I saw the arc available for this book, I jumped at it. I am so glad I did because it was so good. It immediately goes into what’s going on so even though there’s not a lot of backstory starting out, the author does amazing at explaining throughout the book. You don’t really ever feel lost even though like I said it starts immediately in what’s going on. Kara is our FMC and even though she is completely confused and scared and lost because her memory was taken away at the beginning she does run and you see a little more of the scared side, but she immediately goes into survivor mode and takes care of herself builds a life for herself and then realizes that what’s best not just for her, but for the MMC is to go back with him so she does. She goes back with such an open mind and strength that even though the whole book is working towards solving the mystery and her missing memory, she takes everything with a grain of salt and rebuilds her life with everybody. At first, she’s scared because she’s confused and she doesn’t know what or who to trust, but throughout the book she learns to trust herself, which is so amazing. The MMC, Zander is such a sweetheart. He is an amazing partner for her and treats her so great. He supports her even when it hurts him and she has to be away. He’s patient with her and helps her relearn everything. He is also so loving towards her and honestly, he’s just swoon worthy. I love all the characters in this book and the development throughout keeps you intrigued. I will definitely be reading the next one and can’t wait for it to come out.
